We are seeking high-achieving graduates for a one-year Analyst Internship starting in January 2026. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of investment banking, working directly with seasoned professionals on live, complex transactions that have a tangible impact on the South African and global business landscape

Responsibilities

• Transaction Support: Actively support the origination and execution of M&A and corporate finance mandates from the initial pitch phase through to closing
• Financial Analysis: Help build and review detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and merger consequence analyses
• Valuation: Perform company and asset valuation using various methodologies to inform strategic decisions
• Client Materials: Assist in designing and creating high-quality presentation materials for client meetings, covering strategic alternatives, M&A processes, and financing options
• Market & Company Research: Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company-specific research to support due diligence and deal thesis development
• Synthesis & Reporting: Synthesize complex data and analyses into clear, actionable conclusions and written reports

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Management, or Engineering
